The area has a wide range of walking resources from a stroll along the beach at sunset to serious hill walks within easy driving distance.

There are excellent walks along quiet roads and the shoreline to Tarbat Ness lighthouse and the villages of Rockfield and Inver. Many farms have walkable access roads though you should ask permission before encroaching on farm land.

Serious hill-walkers have easy access to Beinn Tharsuinn, the Ben Wyvis massif, Assynt, the Sutherland hills and many famous West Coast walks.
